Ingredients

1 lb Jimmy Dean regular sausage

1 jar of Ragu Pizza Sauce

3 cloves Garlic- minced

Green Bell Pepper- chopped

1/2 small onion- chopped

dry Italian Seasoning

1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese

2 ‘cans’ of Pillsbury French Loaf -refrigerated, uncooked

Large pizza stone or pan

Directions:

Cook sausage in skillet, constantly stirring and breaking up into small pieces. Roll out 1 can of Pillsbury French Loaf onto greased pizza stone. Use a spoon to spread out a layer of Ragu Pizza Sauce on the dough. Dump the remainder of the sauce into the cooked sausage. Add onion, garlic, and pepper, Italian Seasoning and continue cooking. When well heated, pour sausage mixture onto the rolled out dough. Spread out, leaving about an inch left of the dough at the edges so it can be turned over later. Spread mozzarella cheese over sausage mixture. Open second cold French loaf dough and roll out and place over the top. Take the bottom dough layer and pull over the top layer and use your fingers to press it together. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30 mins, or until golden brown on top.

Serves around 6-8.
