This is a Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley, California. It’s not your ordinary Sauvignon Blanc. It doesn’t have the usual acidity that most Sauvignon Blancs have, which is why I like it so much. I discovered this on my trip to Napa Valley last September. Instead of a grapefruit taste on the palette, it brings pear to the palette. It is a very unusual, but a very refreshing white wine. I paired this wine with curry chicken when I came home. It is a great pairing. The light and fruity wine compliments the spicyness of the curry chicken. It is also fantastic by itself as a refreshing summer wine. I can’t get enough of this Cliff Lede!

Review: A friend of ours brought over a couple of bottles of this white wine a few years back. We were hooked from the first glass. It’s not too dry nor too sweet and has great flavor. It really goes well with poultry, fish and just by itself when you feel like a glass of wine. We keep ours in the fridge so it’s always nice and cool.
